Dr Barbara Garcia

Dr Barbara Garcia joins the team at Queanbeyan GP Super Clinic as a GP Registrar. She obtained her medical degree through The University of Sydney and has a Bachelor of Medical Sciences from Macquarie University. Dr Garcia has 5 years of Obstetrics and Gynaecology experience across several Sydney and ACT hospitals, as well as recent experience in Paediatrics at The Canberra Hospital. She is currently working to achieve her Advanced Diploma of Obstetrics at Queanbeyan District Hospital. Areas of interest include women’s health, pregnancy care, early pregnancy loss, contraception, newborn care, and Paediatrics. Dr Garcia moved to the area from Sydney two years ago with her husband, two energic and adorable children, and equally adorable dog. She enjoys spending time with her loved ones, being in nature, yoga, dancing, and good food.
